As a mother, I have a unique ability to help kids relax and be themselves in front of my camera so that when I am photographing them they can be silly, give me their genuine expressions and both feel seen and comfortable, creating photos that truly represent their personality, quirks and all during this age!

Fine Art School Photos don't need to be stiff and awkward. What's the point if their photos don't actually look like them or represent their true personality? When I meet children during school photo day, I make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed with me so when I start taking their picture, they can be themselves and have a good time, while I get to capture their energy, sweet mannerisms and adorable expressions.
School Photos should ACTUALLY give you a visual time capsule of your kiddos' personality at that age!
The first step is to reach out to me through my Contact Form. Once you send me some info about your school, the student body size and your location, I will respond within 24-48 hours with all the details and my availability and services.
For new schools, I require the ability to come see the space so I can choose the best place to do the photos and you will be asked to sign a contract to confirm the date, time and place. I'm here to answer all your questions and make the process super simple and easy, from start to finish.

As the date(s) for school photos approaches, I will prepare a special PDF for you to send out to parents to get them all the information they need to make Photo Day go very smoothly, including wardrobe suggestions, pricing, sibling photo options and how to prepare their kiddos so they will be comfortable and excited!
Sometimes, I do ask for a parent volunteer or teacher to assist during the photos and we can discuss this as the date approaches. We will also confirm the schedule of when each class will come to my station for their photos, as well as staff pictures.
On School Picture Day, I will arrive at your school with my set up and get the party started! I typically spend 2-4 minutes with each child to make sure I get a good variety of photos as well as have time for them to feel at ease and see me as a friendly face!
I never force smiles or poses and interact with each child based on their energy and comfort level. My goal is to make sure things run smoothly, all the children are happy and having a good time, and that the photos I take truly represent both my style and each child's individual personality.
3. picture day!
To keep things simple and streamlined, within a week of Picture Day, you will be sent a link to my order page. This page gives all the necessary instructions for parents to access their child's images and order digitals, prints, or both directly from the online gallery.
I allows up to 2 weeks for parents to place their orders, giving them time to pick their favorites, send the galleries to family members for them to place orders, and make sure they have all their questions answered.

All orders of digital images from the online galleries will be emailed immediately and directly to each parent.
All print orders are completed through my professional photo lab. Once parents place their orders for prints or canvases, it typically takes 2-3 weeks for all of them to arrive at my home where I will then sort them and package them for each family.
All prints will be hand delivered by me to your school within 4-5 weeks of Picture Day!

When you hire me as your school photographer, I do not charge a fee up front. The only payment I get is based off of whatever orders parents place after their gallery of images is delivered to them within a week of Picture Day! My older children had a school picture company take their preschool photos. The pictures were cute, but they were very classic, staged photos. When my younger two were in preschool, the school hired Rivkah Leah to take photos. She took just a few pictures of each kid, but each kid’s energy, unique personality, and joy came through!
